Is Your Suburban Speedometer Stuck?

November 14, 2014 By fred Leave a Comment

Are you having problems with a stuck speedometer in your 2003-2006 Chevrolet Suburban?  This is a very common problem on the Suburban and is a definite sign that your gauge is going bad and will need replaced.  When you have a stuck speedometer fixed you have a couple choices, you can replace just the  single speedometer motor and that will fix the speedometer problem.  Or you can have us replace all the gauge motors while we’re in there including the tachometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, water temp gauge and battery (volt) gauge.  This way you won’t have to worry about those going out later on.  Given enough time all the gauges in the 03-06 Suburban will go out, one at a time until there’s no functioning gauges left.

If you’re having problems with more than one gauge or are experiencing other issues such as intermittent total power loss, dim digital displays, language scrolling across the odometer screen or other issues you’ll need to have the instrument cluster fully rebuilt.  With our full rebuild service we’ll replace all the gauge motors, all the lights and repair/replace many components on the circuit board that we’ve found to cause all kinds of problems with Suburban gauge clusters.

If you have any questions about your Suburban instrument cluster please email us at fred@drspeedometer.com or call out toll free number at 1-800-405-1056!
