I got my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer cluster out, shipped and returned and reinstalled in about 10 days (counting weekends)! Removing and re-installing the cluster was a snap with their easy-to-follow instructions and YouTube video.

I went from having a cluster with only 2 bulbs working, only the fuel gauge working and draining (killing my battery overnight) to a fully operational cluster and no more battery issues. I couldn't be happier!! Thanks Fred!!!

Very happy with the turnaround time. All the instruments all work well. I upgraded with the white face and blue leds. I like the white face. The blue led light looks nice but for me is not bright enough at night. I can not read the instruments very well so I wish I had stayed with the white leds. Overall very happy.

Guys, this was my second trip to see Dr. Speedometer, my first was in 2013 and fixed. Now its 2022, a different Suburban and the same problem with my odometer and P-R-N-D...What the heck. Wow. If I didn't know any better I would have sworn the cluster I got back wasn't the same. Not only did the cluster come back working at 100% but it was really really clean. It's a retired farm truck so you can imagine how dirty it was.

Wow! What a fantastic job. Turnaround was 1 day after it was received. It came back completely repaired, thoroughly cleaned, and well packaged. The price was less than a "re-manufactured" unit from the parts store (and they require the core). The best news - it retained my original mileage (38600) which was very important to me on my 2004 Silverado that I purchased new. I definitely recommend Dr. Speedometer.

I wanted a transmission temp guage installed for my 2005 Avalanche, but the backlighting was dim so I went for the rebuild and blue LED lights as well. What a difference! The instrument cluster was sent back super quick and looked better than new with beautiful blue LEDs. Fred answered all my questions very quickly as well. Highly recommended!

I wasn't sure that this was going to fix my issue. My truck sat for awhile and the battery went dead. After i charged it up and started the truck, nothing on the instrument cluster was working. I checked all the fuses and they were good. I looked up the issue online and found Dr Speedometer. I took a chance not knowing if this was going to fix my issue or not. I sent it out monday and received it about a week and a half later. I installed it right away and everything worked just like new. I'm so happy to have the issue resolved and i will always recommend this site to everyone i know. Thank you so much.

2003 Chevy Silverado instrument bought new with only 69000 miles now and the entire instrument cluster goes out! Found out about Dr. Speedometer while doing an internet search. Downloaded the instructions for removal (simple and easy). Sent off in the mail and 8 days later received the repaired panel and 15 minutes later back on the road. Working perfectly. Just wanted to take a quick minute & thank you for your fast, reliable service. I tracked my package to your facility, then once I knew it was safely there, I didn't think anything more about it. Until the next day...... I received an email that my package was on its way! I thought this must be some type of mistake, but within a few days, there the package was on my porch. I opened up the very well-packaged box, & immediately took it out to my truck & installed it. Of course, it worked perfectly, & the new LED's I chose looked awesome.

My speedometer had died almost two years ago, & the rest of the gages finally let go late last summer. I did not know what to do, until I found your website.

I went to the UPS store sent my cluster and one week later had my cluster back installed and everything worked as advertised ... side note ... now that cluster works properly I found out I need to replace my oil pressure sending unit ... They rebuild my 05 Escalade EXT gauge cluster all new lights,servos and shift indicator. Came back working like it was factory fresh. The odometer and engine hrs are untouched and read correctly. They go through the whole thing. I sent it out and it was returned within a week. I would highly recommend this company.

I have contacted Fred and ordered installation of the transmission temperature gauge in mid-December but just recently was able to send him the instrument cluster. He did the installation in just 7 days including two-way USPS shipment and weekend! The gauge looks like it always have been there and works perfectly! Also, I received great prompt answers to all my boring questions. Cannot recommend his services enough. Thank you so much Fred!

Let me make this simple, spend 150-200 dollars to get confident fix guaranteed. If you are not confident in your soldering skills and don't want to pay twice the market value for a replacement instrument cluster that may or may not malfunction in the future, go with Fred. This will not be fixed without a rebuild.Fred completely rebuilds everything and it brings new life to the vehicle. I even went with LED lights which look great and will last much longer. Best decision I have made for my truck in years. Fred is great at this and a great communicator when answers are needed.

After years of dealing with non functional or malfunctioning gauges, I finally broke down and sent the cluster in. I wish that I would have done it a long time ago! With the addition of white faces, blue needles and blue LEDs, the finished product is much better than new. It looks great, works perfectly and is much easier to see with the additions. Speedo hasn't worked in years. Mech friend told me I needed to change out some output speed sensor. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on it. Then gauges went out. Found this site. Sent it in and they sent it back. Now everything works and so does the speedo. So happy.

Just installed my Cluster and the results are fantastic. Changing the gauge face to White and with White LEDs the gauge faces reverse colors at night and this is a huge improvement in visibility. Gauges are right on the money and the DIC display is also fixed. 10 min. to remove and replace makes this a no brainer. Thanks Again !!!

Thank goodness for the internet! I found Dr. Speedometer after some of the stepper motors in my instrument cluster went haywire. Absolutely outstanding service from the prepaid shipping label to the repair and turnaround. Fred received my cluster late on a Wed. and before noon on Thursday, he had it repaired and on its way back to me! Re-installed it yesterday and everything works perfectly. I found this site while searching for someone that could repair my PRNDL light in my Instrument Cluster. After deciding to do the rebuild I also decided to upgrade to Blue LED lights and the White needles. Wow! what a difference. Awesome job guys gauge cluster works like new with very minimal hassle on my part. Initially I bought the stepper motors from Dr. speedometer through Amazon because I was going to attempt the repairs myself. Then once the stepper motors arrived from Amazon I took he’d to the warning sticker Inside the box and watched Dr. speedometers Recommended videos which made me second-guess doing the repair. Contacted Dr. speedometer by email and they gave me credit for the parts I had bought a shipping label and shipping instructions. I sent it out on a Thursday and the gauge cluster was back in my possession by the following Thursday. Gauges work like a charm and it was money very well spent I would highly recommend anybody With these gauge cluster issues to seek out Dr. speedometers help I would recommend them to anybody that asks awesome job and thank you very much

I bought a used 2005 GMC Denali. Some of the gauges were suspect as it relates to their accuracy. A short time later other gauges failed. After some internet research, I found Dr. Speedometer.



Within 1 week, I had the instrument cluster out, repaired and reinstalled. This included shipping both ways and the actual repairs. FAST !!!

All of the gauges on my 2004 Chevy Silverado eventually stopped working. I looked at all of the cluster repair sites & I chose Dr Speedometer because I could pay by credit card & receive a shipping label without having wait in line at the post office. I thought to myself that I don't need any upgrades, but when I saw I could get the transmission temperature gauge, I did not hesitate to order it. After my gas gage and temp gage not working for some time, I shopped around for a IP for my trailblazer. Would be 6 stars if possible. I was looking at $600 for the repair. The simple instructions to remove the display myself. The turn around time was unbelievable. All for around $200 (I paid for expedited shipping). It cam back spotless, working perfectly. Not I have a speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure and temp gauge that work. Great Job! Wonderful! The only gauge that worked was the fuel gauge. All other usages pegged or not working. Saved a considerable amount of money, was able to track the cluster both ways, quick turnaround, and now I don't have to quess after two years how fast I am traveling.

Highly recommend for rework and updating. My only regret was not doing it sooner.

Amazing turn around, I followed the USPS tracking and he literally received my gauges at noon on a Wed. Then shipped it back on Thur. and it arrived on Sat.
