The Hummer H2 is, hands down, GM’s off-road darling. Though it’s plenty common to see one around the city, where they really excel is off the beaten path. But when you’re out there off the grid, away from civilization, and often out of cell phone range, you need to know that your H2 is going to hang in the way you expect it to. You need to know everything that’s going on with it, inside and out. A faulty instrument cluster is exactly what you don’t need.
Unfortunately, instrument cluster failure is a real possibility for H2s and other GM vehicles made in the 2000s. After a while, gauges start sticking or fail to give any reading at all; you can’t tell if your engine really is getting too hot or if the gauge is just acting up again; you are pretty sure you just got enough gas to get there and back, but your fuel gauge is telling you only have half a tank. When you’re taking full advantage of your H2’s capabilities, the chance that one of these readings might be wrong isn’t one you can afford to take.
But too often, getting these instruments fixed at the dealership, where repairs can start at $500 and more, doesn’t feel too affordable either. Well, Dr. Speedometer has a better option. Following some simple instructions that we will provide, you can remove the instrument panel from your H2 and send it to us, postage paid. We will fix it the same day we receive it and send it back to you on our dime better than new. The whole process generally takes less than a week, so you can get back out on the road – and off of it – ASAP.
We know your H2 is precious to you, so we use only brand new, factory parts and guarantee our work 100%, for life. For less than $200, we’ll rebuild your entire instrument cluster, not just the gauges that have already gone out. If anything goes wrong with them, ever, you can just send it back to me and we will fix it for free.
GM instrument clusters are what we do. We have fixed thousands of them over the years. Click through to our order page and send us your instrument panel today. Let us give you back the peace of mind you had when your H2 was brand new.
Fred,
I downloaded your instructions, extracted the cluster, and sent you my Hummer gauge cluster. You got it back to me molto rapido. When I installed it, the speedometer indicated 15 mph.
When I called you, you told me how to disassemble the front and reset the needle to zero. Everything is in order except the check engine light has stayed on. I’ll get that reset this week.
Thank you for the excellent, reasonably priced service. The gauge options are really striking, especially the blue leds on the white background with the blue needles. You have earned your reputation as Doctor Speedometer.
